Final voters attend Dorset counts

With polls now closed for today’s General election, voters in Bournemouth will soon have their ballot papers counted at the Littledown Centre in Bournemouth.

The leisure centre, situated near Bournemouth Hospital, will play host to ballot counting of papers from Bournemouth East and Bournemouth West constituencies.

Members of the public have been casting their vote all day across Dorset with results for Bournemouth expected to come through at 3.30am Friday morning.

Adam Goacher, location reporting for Your election 15, has secured exclusive footage from the Littledown Centre.

Conservative candidate for Bournemouth West, Conor Burns, will look to secure a second term as MP while UKIP’s Martin Houlden, Labour’s David Stokes alongside the Green candidate Elizabeth McManus and Liberal Democrat Mike Plummer also standing.

Jason Lewis also secured footage from Poole Lighthouse where votes will be counted right from the coast of Dorset.
