The Tories are making their mark across the country, as Boris Johnson gained his seat in Uxbridge and South Ruislip, beating UKIP rival Jack Duffin.
The seat has been held by the Tories since 1970.
Johnson, Mayor of London since 2008, has said previously that he will remain in his role as Mayor until the end of his term next year in addition to becoming the MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip.
The Tories also maintained their seat in the Essex Borough of Thurrock, with a hold for MP Jackie Doyle-Price.
This came after a requested recount from the Tory party.
The area was originally a UKIP target for this year’s General Election, however the Tories have taken the lead.
The Borough was originally held by the Conservatives, on a majority of just 92 votes.
Thurrock is seen as a three way marginal constituency between the Conservatives, Labour and UKIP.
