Conservative hold Labour target seat of Nuneaton

Marcus Jones has comfortably won Nuneaton in Warwickshire for the Conservatives, with a majority of nearly 5,000. The first marginal Tory-held constituency to declare, this was considered a key seat for Labour to win.

The Conservatives performed better than predicted, with the exit poll earlier this evening forecasting a Labour win.

Conservative Count came in at: 20,837

Labour count came in at: 15,945

UKIP came in at: 6,582

Greens came in at: 1,281

Lib Dem count came in at: 816

Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition came in at: 194
