SNP deputy leader Stewart Hosie said MPs from his party would work together with “allies from across the UK” such as the Greens and Plaid Cymru to end the shared “ideological commitment to austerity” of the Conservatives and Labour.
The announcement comes after Plaid Cymru leader Leanne Wood said Plaid would not prop up a Tory government, but would also refuse to be part of a formal coalition with a Labour Party committed to implementing austerity and replacing Trident.
