Green Party release ‘Change the Tune’ boyband parody

The Green Party has released a bizarre party political broadcast, characterising the major party leaders as members of a boyband that could give One Direction a run for their money.

‘Change the Tune’ opens with a message about the Green Party’s increasing membership before the speaker refers to the major parties as “like they’re in harmony”.

Events subsequently take a bizarre turn that Simon Cowell would be proud of.

There’s something beautifully awful about the whole thing, which comes in the wake of the Lib Dem cover of ‘Uptown Funk’ last month.

Maybe the boyband will recruit some new members between now and the election. I hear Zayn Malik’s into his politics these days?
