Though three out of the seven leaders on tonight’s debate are women, droves of Twitter users have popularised the Everyday Sexism hashtag.
Many Twitter users have been angered by Nigel Farage’s alleged ‘shouting down’ of his fellow female leaders, while an #EverydaySexism bingo has even been created.
