Tory Minister loses seat in Wirral West to Labour

Labour wins Wirral West, after a tough fight for one of the tightest seats in Merseyside.

Conservative count came in as 18,481%

Labour count came in as 18,898%

Lib Dem count came in as 1,433%

UKIP count came in as 2,772%

Esther Mcvey, Conservative former Minister of State for Employment, lost the seat to Labour’s Margaret Greenwood.
