Conservative Christopher Chope holds onto Christchurch.
Conservative count came in at 28,887, whilst UKIP count came in second at 10,663

Conservative candidate Christopher Chope has retained his seat in the Christchurch constituency, it having been a safe seat for the Conservatives since it was won back from the Liberal Democrats in 1997, and has been held by Chope ever since.
A south coast seat between Bournemouth, Christchurch is an affluent retirement town. It has the highest proportion of over 60s of any constituency in Great Britain.
Chope won the seat over Labour candidate Andrew Satherley, Liberal Democrats Andy Canning, UKIP’s Bin Gray, and Greens Shona Dunn.

Chope said that he felt excited over the prospect of a new Tory Government, adding that he is confident that the Tory’s can hold their seat in Christchurch against UKIP who is predicted to be their main competition this evening.
