With just a week to go before one of the most contested elections ever seen, the political future of the UK is still a mystery.
With poll upon poll pitching one party above the other, there’s no telling who will take up residence in number 10.
According to the latest ComRes poll over 10 million votes are still up for grabs across the country as 40% of voters are still undecided.
Currently Labour and the Conservatives tie for votes according to the poll, yet 51% of voters still think David Cameron would make a better Prime Minister that Ed Miliband.
Meanwhile the SNP are set to make a clean sweep in Scotland with the Ipsos MORI survey putting them ahead at 54%, translating to them winning every seat.
There are unfortunate predictions for Nick Clegg and Nigel Farage, with both set to lose their prospective seats next week.
Clegg is a point behind Labour in his Sheffield constituency where he won by a 15,000 majority in 2010’s election.
Farage’s claim to the seat in Thanet South is also under threat as he has slipped two points below the Conservatives.
Current polling stands at 35% for both Labour and the Conservatives, 11% for UKIP, 7% for the Lib Dems, 6% for the Greens, with other parties at 6% also.
Many of you may be tired of listening to the non-stop election coverage but for those of you eagerly awaiting next Thursday’s results, this election is still wide open.
