Labour’s Douglas Alexander has lost his seat in Paisley and Renfrewshire South to the SNP.
Mhairi Black has now become the youngest MP at just 20 years old, representing the Scottish National Party in Westminster for the next term.
Alexander was first elected to Parliament in the Paisley South by-election in 1997.
Born in Paisley, Black is in her final year at the University of Glasgow, studying Politics and Public Policy.
SNP count comes in at: 30,198
Labour count comes in at: 16,027
Conservative count comes in at: 3,597
Liberal Democrats count comes in at: 816
Independent: 503
