I used to be a member of the local Conservative association [a few years ago] and I had a few negative experiences with this MP

Also a while ago stood behind him in a queue for the train to London and he spoke to the cashier rudely- it was rather narcissistic.

I’ve listed the negative experiences I’ve had with Tobias.

    (1) The association asked me (in 2008) to visit a pregnant German woman who had problems, she was a benefit claimant and the Home Office wanted her to leave the country.I advised her to see the MP Tobias as the case was too complex for me.He was annoyed at me saying ‘that case should never have come to me the Daily Mail would have a field day with this’.
He made it all about him with no thought for her or for my position, it was me me me and then his agent said to me “that case should have never gone to Tobias”.Tobias was very unsympathetic to her,he had the eight month pregnant German woman in tears. She telephoned me in a distraught state saying these exact words,I quote verbatim “don’t trust him he only cares about his own set”.

    (2) In 2009 I was defending Cllr Ben Grower when he was victimized by the Daily Echo for praising himself in the online comments section,I emailed Stephen MacLoughlin and said ‘I hope the Conservatives don’t mind me defending a Labour member it’s just that I’m so disgusted with this newspaper for sadistically publicly humiliating him’- I told Cllr Mac that a young Uni student had told me the Daily Echo had contacted him asking for him to forward a slightly ranty inappropriate email Tobias had sent him defending the property developer Cllr Alex Adams,I said in my email “to his credit the young man refused, that horrible paper was intent on humiliating Tobias Ellwood”.Unfortunately Cllr Stephen Mac immediately forwarded my email to the entire Conservative group and I think that embarrassed Tobias (The constituent had written to David Cameron who had, apparently, told Tobias off for sending the email to the constituent) – I think he resented me for that because he felt slightly ashamed of his self.

    (3) When I attended BECA Haviland Rd (a few weeks after the email was circulated) Tobias was slightly rude to me — I sensed it was a power play in the offing , I made a purposeful point of strongly standing up to him-he took me into his office like I was a naughty school child and berated me,saying I was too “independent”.When I got home I emailed the people who were present who witnessed the power play attempt situation and said’ look I’m sorry I made a bit of a scene today and sounded so arrogant/pushy it was because he was trying to treat us three as lesser than him”

    (4) In 2010 I was copying Tobias into a situation where a junior doctor whistleblower in the NHS was being victimized (he ended up being sacked) and I wanted to put the wind up them (which it did) by copying in an MP to the emails I was sending – -Tobias Ellwood emailed me with a dismissive response, similar to the one I got today. He was concerned not with the bigger picture but with his own irritation.

Sorry to shatter anyones illusions but I’m convinced he’s mainly in this politics game for himself, imo he is a careerist politician who is consumed with his own ambitions.
