Tory Wikipedia pages defaced with pictures of Ed Miliband

In the final hours before the polling stations close, the Wikipedia pages of many UK politicians have been defaced with pictures of Ed Miliband.

The Wikipedia pages of the Conservative Party, including David Cameron’s page, UKIP, George Osborne, Boris Johnson, Ken Clarke and Nigel Farage have all been spammed with pictures of Labour Leader Ed Miliband.

The pages backgrounds were all changed to red with ‘vote Labour’ written above a picture of Ed Miliband, leaving no other information available on the page.

Nick Clegg’s page appears to have escaped being vandalised.

Ed Miliband’s own page, along with those of other Labour Party members, was also vandalised.

Most of the pages were restored within 20 minutes of the picture appearing, but not before Twitter users had managed to make screenshots.

No one has claimed responsibility for the defacing of the pages.
