The Green Party will launch a music video broadcast tomorrow night featuring comedians parodying several politicians.
The broadcast will see actors playing David Cameron, Ed Miliband, Nick Clegg and Nigel Farage unite as part of a boy band called Coalition.
Throughout the film, key changes, dry ice and starry lights will accompany the song titled Change the Tune, which has “been at number one for about 200 years”.
An actress opening and closing the broadcast insists voters could “change the tune, voting true not tactical”.
Green Party leader Natalie Bennett said in a statement the “establishment” parties were “singing from the same hymn sheet”.
“Voting Green on May 7 is a chance for people to play their part in breaking open the political harmony of the Establishment parties,” she said.
Directed on behalf by Johnny Hopkins of Creature of London, the film will first be broadcast tomorrow at 17.55 on BBC2.
The song is also available online on the Green Party’s website, as well as on Shazam.
