David Cameron was in Poole today – giving the Tory candidate for the marginal Mid Dorset and North Poole constituency a boost. He also attended a Dorset family BBQ during his flying visit and decided to tuck into a hot dog….using a knife and fork!
Twitter reacted almost immediately:
the “David Cameron Eats Hot Dog with Fork” story is pretty much a Seinfeld storyline. Here’s George with a Snickers. pic.twitter.com/eI89U2eubJ

Others supported the Tory leader….
Really dislike David Cameron but all this about him eating a hot dog with a knife and fork? Come on. I have. I eat burgers with cutlery too.

By others he was lambasted…
@gemini2359 @longsight9a @David_Cameron is so posh. Eating a hot dog with a knife and fork. — David Brede (@davidbrede) April 6, 2015
Sarcasm emerged….
The news that David Cameron ate his hot dog without onions could be the thing we need to blow this unremarkable campaign wide open.

And plenty of others couldn’t care a less…
Same folk who bemoaned ridicule of Miliband eating a bacon sandwich are now ridiculing Cameron eating a hot-dog. Tribal school-yard politics

“@SkyNews: Cameron Uses Cutlery To Dodge Hot Dog Blunder http://t.co/uRDqkKS4Yk” this seriously makes the news? — Sam Castlehouse (@SCastlehouse) April 6, 2015
